This notice describes how the Trimnexa website and Android app handle personal data today. It is an operational description of the current product, not a substitute for professional legal review.

Trimnexa operates a multi-vendor marketplace for Cameroon at trimnexa.com. Contact: hello@trimnexa.com.

When you create an account we store your name, email, password hash, optional phone number, language preference, and account role. Sessions use HTTP cookies.

Orders include product details, quantities, totals in XAF, delivery city/region, delivery method, and order status. Deleted product listings may still appear on past orders.

Buyer checkout currently supports MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money as the intended payment methods. Live Mobile Money Collection APIs are not connected. In production, Trimnexa does not create fake successful charges. Development/sandbox mock checkout is disabled when APP_ENV is production.

Delivery uses a selected Cameroon region and city. Trimnexa does not currently request GPS location permission. No full street address is required for the current checkout model.

If you use cart or wishlist, we store the selected product ids, quantities, and related checkout selection on your account or in a guest-cart cookie until you sign in.

Account messages and customer-support tickets store the text you send so Trimnexa and the other party can respond. Support contact details you provide are kept with the ticket.

Sellers also provide shop name, city/region, payout Mobile Money numbers, and optional payout account name. Those payout numbers are for seller withdrawals and are not shown on public listings.

Sellers may upload product photos and verification documents. Product photos can be shown publicly. Verification documents are stored privately for admin review and are not shown on the public marketplace.

The Android app may use the camera or the system photo picker for visual search and seller product photos. Trimnexa does not request broad device-storage or GPS permission for those flows.

Image search uploads a photo you choose so Trimnexa can look for similar catalogue products. Query photos are processed to answer that search. They are not used as public product listings.

If an OpenAI key is configured on the server, product-description drafts and visual search may send relevant text or images to OpenAI. That processing happens only on the server. No OpenAI key is shipped in the Android app.

Trimnexa currently uses in-app notifications and optional email. Push notifications are not enabled in the Android app yet, so notification permission is not requested.

Authentication cookies keep you signed in on the website and in the Android app WebView. The Android app loads the hosted Trimnexa HTTPS site; it does not embed the database.

Order, payment, and audit records may be kept after an account deletion request because they are needed for marketplace, tax, and dispute handling. Account login is blocked after a deletion request.

Customers can request account deletion from Account → Security (also reachable from Account → Settings → Security). That request signs you out and prevents further login. It does not instantly erase historical orders, payments, or dispute records needed for marketplace operations.

Data may be processed by hosting, email, storage, and (when configured) AI providers acting as processors. Mobile Money providers receive payment initiation details when live payments are connected.

Production traffic is intended to use HTTPS. Secrets such as database URLs, auth secrets, payment keys, and AI keys belong on the server environment, not in the Android application package.
